Henri Meltaus

Henri Meltaus has a strong background in software development and cloud computing. Henri started their career at Ambientia in 2005, where they worked as a Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Developer. During their time at Ambientia, they designed and implemented various Java EE applications and also served as a team tech lead. Henri also contributed to the development of the company's working methodologies and supervised and mentored younger developers. In 2008, Henri joined Houston Inc. as a Senior Consultant. In this role, they worked on agile Java EE projects for banking, financing, and media sectors, taking on both developer and scrum master roles. Henri also provided career coaching to colleagues and delivered education and training to both colleagues and customers. In 2013, Henri joined Webscale Oy as the CTO and Senior Cloud Architect. At Webscale, they designed and implemented cloud architectures and infrastructure, developed cloud-optimized applications, and offered managed services for AWS solutions.

Henri Meltaus earned a degree in Business Information Technology from Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Henri attended the university from 2002 to 2005. Alongside their degree, Henri also obtained several certifications, including the AWS Technical Professional certification, AWS TCO and Cloud Economics certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification, AWS Business Professional certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification, Certified Scrum Master certification, Sun Certified Web Component Developer (J2EE 1.4) certification, and Sun Certified Java Programmer (J2SE5) certification. These certifications were obtained between 2006 and 2016 from institutions such as Amazon Web Services, Scrum Alliance, and Sun Microsystems.
