Sasha Chinnaya

Sasha Chinnaya is an experienced English teacher at Vista Academy since September 2021 and a Corps Member with Teach For America since March 2021, selected from a competitive pool to teach in under-resourced public schools while pursuing a Master's degree in Teaching. Additionally, Sasha works as a freelance writer for Website Magazine, focusing on film reviews and critical discussions surrounding human rights, politics, and the arts. Previous roles include a legal assistant at Bangel, Cohen & Falconetti, LLP, an administrative assistant at Alert USA, Inc., a summer reading teacher at the Institute of Reading Development, and a legal researcher at Record Access. Sasha holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from St. John's University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from the same institution.
