Jayne Defend is a seasoned professional in human resources and benefits management, currently serving as the Manager of Total Rewards at Webster University since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles at University of Missouri Health Care as well as Veterans United Home Loans, where Jayne held the position of People Services Benefits Manager. Previous positions also include HR Manager of Benefits & Retirement at Boone Health and Assistant Director of Benefits at the University of Florida. Jayne’s career began in accounting as an Accountant/Internal Audit Specialist at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, culminating in the role of Associate Director of Human Resources. Jayne Defend holds an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University.
