James Kopack has over 35 years of work experience, starting in 1984 as a Senior Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. James then worked at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Accounting Officer for parent holding company. In 1994, they joined GE Capital as a Vice President, responsible for structuring and underwriting financing opportunities. James later moved to CIT, where they held multiple roles, including Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer for Asset Based Lending, Maritime, Commercial Aviation, Aerospace & Defense, and Healthcare ABL. Their most recent position was at Webster Bank, where they served as Managing Director, overseeing Equipment Finance Underwriting and Portfolio Management. In this role, they reviewed and approved equipment financing transactions across multiple industries and managed a $1.8 billion portfolio secured by various equipment.
James Kopack has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Binghamton University. James is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the New York State Education Department in 1990.
