Tammy Buckner

Tammy Buckner, MBA, CSM has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tammy is currently the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of WeCode KC, a company they founded in 2019. Prior to that, they founded and served as the President of Techquity Digital, LLC. from 2015 onwards, focusing on providing technology solutions and consulting services. Tammy also worked as a Technical Director at Wirestream in 2015. Before that, they held the position of Lead Business Systems Analyst at VML from 2010 to 2015, where they utilized agile methodologies and analyzed business processes. Tammy also gained experience as a Business Systems Analyst for VML via RiverPoint Group from 2010 to 2013. Tammy has mentored high school students at MINDDRIVE and worked as a Full Stack Developer at Virtuous Creations. Tammy began their career as an HTML Developer at The Kansas City Star from 1997 to 2003.

Tammy Buckner, MBA, CSM has an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Rockhurst University (2020-2022). Tammy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Business Management from DeVry University. In addition, Tammy completed coursework at the University of Central Missouri in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services (1989-1990).

Tammy has obtained certifications as a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator from the Raspberry Pi Foundation (2018) and as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance (2014).
