Prashant Shah

Prashant Shah has extensive work experience in the financial industry, primarily with Wedbush Securities. Prashant currently serves as the Managing Director, Advanced Clearing and Prime Services, where they are responsible for the growth and profitability of these services. Prashant has been with Wedbush Securities since 2003, holding various roles including Vice President, Client Solutions & Onboarding, Director of Technology, Clearing & Execution Services, IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Software Developer. Earlier in their career, Prashant also worked as an IT Consultant for Vivendi Universal Games and as a Sr. Software Developer at Pacific Decision Science Corp. There, they led a software development team in building a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, successfully meeting client expectations within budget constraints.

Prashant Shah began their education at S. P. University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Chemistry in 1998. Following this, in 1999, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications at the same university. In 2000, Prashant enrolled at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, completing their studies in 2003. Prashant then went on to further their education at the USC Marshall School of Business from 2005 to 2008, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Strategy and Finance.
