David Ledford has over 20 years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry. David began their career in 1995 as a Territory Sales Manager at KeHE Distributors. In 1996, they joined The Hain Celestial Group as Sales Director Natural & Specialty, where they managed a sales team of six, launched hundreds of new products, and played a key role in the assessment and management of brand acquisitions. In 2003, they became National Sales Director - US & Canada at Wholesome Sweeteners, where they strategically built the North American business of value-added Organic and Fair Trade Certified sweeteners. In 2015, they joined Natierra (BrandStorm Inc) - Superfoods Company as VP of Sales, where they managed a sales team of six and developed a base strategy for price, promotions, retailer targets and GM for both branded and private label products. Most recently, in 2016, they became SVP of Sales - North America at Wedderspoon, where they lead all global sales functions and has recruited and developed a top tier sales team and broker network to build the brand across Grocery, Mass, Natural, Drug, Club, DTC, Private Label and E-Commerce. David also sets and manages all annual budgets and trade spend guidelines.
