Kelly Nelson began their career in 2007 as a Project/Editorial Intern at Viacom. In 2011, they took on the role of Director of Public Relations + Brand Partnerships at Wedderspoon. In 2013, they became an Account Executive at Fahrenheit IT, as well as a Contributing Writer at Ask Miss A. Kelly wrote, researched, and conducted interviews for articles, utilized Wordpress by editing photos and web content, attended events and openings where charity meets style, and promoted events, charities, and businesses. In 2014, they founded Bespoken Media PR, a creative public relations and media marketing boutique specializing in sustainable living, natural beauty, fashion, farming, food, design and lifestyle businesses. Kelly also took on the role of Media Strategy Consultant at Braintree Publicity, offering both traditional and new media publicity campaigns with a strong focus on Internet-based marketing.
Kelly Nelson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature/Publishing/Media Studies from Penn State University between 2005 and 2008. Kelly then went on to earn a Master's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania between 2009 and 2010. Additionally, Kelly Nelson has a certification in English/Secondary Education 7-12 from the State of Pennsylvania.
