Lisa Coyne began their work experience in 1995 as an Account Supervisor at Martin Williams Advertising, where they sold creative and marketing concepts to senior level clients. Lisa then joined Whole Foods Market in 2000, starting as a Customer Service Team Leader and later transitioning to various leadership positions such as Whole Body Team Leader and Associate Store Team Leader. During their time at Whole Foods, they achieved high sales performance, mentored team members, and supported new store openings. In 2021, Coyne became the Store Director at Wedge Community Co-ops.

Lisa Coyne completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Management at Northern Michigan University in 1993. In 2008, they obtained an Enzyme Expert Certification from Enzymedica. From 2009 to 2010, Lisa took distance classes in Nutrition at Clayton College of Natural Health. Additionally, they completed the Plant Based Cooking Course at Rouxbe Online Cooking School in 2013. Lisa also participated in Dr. Scott Stoll's Healthy Eating Immersion Program, focusing on a Plant Based Diet, in 2012. Furthermore, they completed the Institue of Advanced Advertising Studies program offered by the American Association of Advertising Agencies in 1997.
