Maor Shayit

Maor Shayit has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Maor began their career as a Regional Sales Manager at Bezeq International, where they achieved five consecutive years of top regional sales performance. Maor then moved on to become the Manager of Retail Operations at MAC Cosmetics, where they successfully managed business and personnel operations during the 2008 financial crisis. Additionally, they opened three new store locations.

Afterwards, Maor worked as the Vice President of Sales at VIM-Well being Clubs, where they established and led the sales and marketing department for the largest Well-Being club in the country. Maor executed branding and marketing initiatives, such as signing an international figure as a brand presenter and launching a national advertising campaign.

Following this, Maor took on the role of Head Branch Manager at Cellcom, a leading telecommunications company. Maor oversaw all business administration, sales, human resources, cost control, and sourcing operations. Maor expanded and diversified the customer base with innovative strategies and developed top-performing teams.

In 2011, Maor became the Vice President of Sales at Metropolitan Movers, a commercial and residential moving company. Maor implemented strategies to drive sales growth and achieved significant increases in annual sales.

In 2017, Maor co-founded SIMPER, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2019. During this time, they played a key role in the establishment and growth of the company.

Later, they joined Weed Me Inc. as the Chief Marketing Officer and contributed to building a patient-driven community and providing innovative tools and support for Canadians interested in medical cannabis. Maor then assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer, further driving the company's mission of ensuring timely access to high-quality and affordable cannabis.

In 2021, Maor Shayit joined Ayurcann Holdings Corp. as a Member of the Board of Directors, adding to their extensive professional experience.

Maor Shayit attended the Peres Academic Centre from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
