M.a.t. Kira Nelson

Kira Nelson, M.A.T. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kira is currently working as a Client Technical Support / B2B at Weedmaps since 2022. Prior to this, they gained extensive experience at Constant Contact, where they held multiple roles including Partner Success Manager, Senior Engagement Specialist Partner Support, Partner Support Specialist, Advanced Partner Support, and Customer engagement specialist from 2017 to 2022. Kira also worked as an Onboarding Specialist at ecomdash from 2020 to 2021. Before transitioning to the tech industry, Kira worked as a Teacher at Poudre School District from 2011 to 2017 and as a Grade 4/5 teacher at Tigard-Tualatin School District from 1998 to 2000. Kira started their career as an Assistant Manager at Starbucks from 1994 to 1997.

Kira Nelson, M.A.T., has obtained a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Concordia University, completed between 1997 and 1998. Prior to this, they pursued a Post Grad in Reading and Children's Literature at Portland State University from 1996 to 1997. In 1989, they began their academic journey at Oregon State University where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts - BA between 1989 and 1994. Additionally, they concurrently pursued two Bachelor of Science - BS degrees at Oregon State University from 1989 to 1993.
