Florian Mueller

Florian Mueller has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Florian is currently the Head of Business Development at wefox since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Partner and Member of the Executive Board at IBC Insurance Broking and Consulting SA from November 2018 to December 2019. Before that, they held the position of Member of the Executive Board, Head of Commercial Insurance, Employee Benefits & International at Funk Gruppe from February 2017 to July 2018. Florian also served as the Country President at ACE Insurance (Switzerland) Limited from January 2004 to January 2017. Florian had previous roles at Swiss Life AG, including Regional Manager Benelux from 2001 to 2003 and Senior Account Executive for US Corporate Clients from September 1998 to 2001. Florian's earlier experience includes a role as Broker Liability and Insurances of persons at Würth Financial Services AG in 1995, and underwriting positions in Casualty and A&H at Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG from June 1990 to August 1994.

Florian Mueller completed an Associate in Risk Management ARM degree in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of Switzerland from 2006 to 2007. Prior to this, Florian attended the ZHAW School of Management and Law from 1995 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Betriebsökonom HWV with a specialization in Banking & Finance.
