Rana Elgaml

Rana ElGaml has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. From 2022 to the present, Rana has been the Payroll and People OPEX Lead at wefox, where they are responsible for overseeing payroll operations and managing expenses related to the company's employees. Prior to this, they worked as the People Operations Lead at wefox, starting in January 2022.

Before joining wefox, Rana worked at Nestlé from 2010 to 2021. Their most recent role at Nestlé was as the Human Resources Operational Lead in Egypt, where they played a key role in providing management and operational services to Nestlé Business Services' partner markets. Rana managed a team of 25 employees, led people, managed conflicts and escalations, and implemented new KPIs and ways of working. Rana also focused on team development and coaching, updating career maps, and maintaining competency matrices.

During their time at Nestlé, Rana held several other positions, including Global Operations Supervisor, Nestle Continuous Excellence Pillar Lead, Quality and Compliance Supervisor for the Center, Quality and Compliance Specialist/Supervisor for HR, and HR Operational Associate. In these roles, they were responsible for various tasks such as leading continuous improvement initiatives, designing and communicating continuous improvement strategies, managing audits and compliance reviews, and validating monthly reports and payroll reconciliations.

Additionally, Rana has prior experience as a Human Resources Generalist at Al Awad Group Automotive from September 2009 to February 2010.

Rana ElGaml obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from Port Said Language School, where they studied from 1991 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Cairo University from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they completed a Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration certification with a "Very Good" rating from the American University in Cairo in 2010.
