Mathilde Boltje has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Mathilde started as a Marketing Intern at Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet in 2012. Mathilde then worked on their graduation thesis on Co-creation and Customer Experience at Windesheim in 2014. In 2016, they worked on their thesis on Privacy Protection at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Freelance Translator and Transcriber at MB Transcribe. Mathilde joined Wehkamp in 2016 and held several positions including Category Assistant & Supply Chain Planner, Brand Specialist, Online Shop Manager/Marketeer, Shopping Experience Content Specialist, and Product Owner Merchandising & Campaigns. Currently, they serve as the Lead Shop Marketing at Wehkamp.

Mathilde Boltje has a Master's degree in Master Marketing Intelligence from the University of Groningen, which they obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a PreMaster in Marketing at the University of Groningen from 2014 to 2015. Mathilde holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerciële economie from Windesheim, which they earned from 2010 to 2014. Mathilde completed their secondary education, Atheneum, at Zuyderzee College from 2004 to 2010. Mathilde also obtained certifications in Commerciële Economie from Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim and in MSc Marketing Intelligence from the University of Groningen.
