Kate Yurkova

Kate Yurkova is a Computer Vision Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science, focusing on 3D/4D representations and generative AI under Prof. Tali Dekel since November 2023. Previously, Yurkova served as a Deep Learning Research Engineer at Deci AI, contributing to state-of-the-art architectures and coarchitecting a core Neural Architecture Search library. As a Deep Learning Engineer, Yurkova was a key author of a guide for computer vision deployment on NVIDIA Jetson and made significant contributions to the open-source library SuperGradients. Prior experience includes developing algorithms for UAV camera positioning at Sightec and researching action recognition models at SPORTA. Yurkova co-founded ISEE and developed an object detection app. Yurkova holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics and System Analysis from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
