Katie Flanagan

Katie Flanagan, CPA, has an extensive work experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and auditing. Katie currently serves as the VP Head of Financial Reporting at wejo, where they led the team through IPO preparation and managed the preparation of SEC filings. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager Financial Reporting at wejo.

Before joining wejo, Katie held the position of Manager, North America Accounting and Sales Audit at Tiffany & Co. Katie was responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations and coordinating the month-end financial closing process for U.S. and Canadian entities.

Katie also served as the SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager at Michael Kors, where they prepared financial statements, conducted variance analysis, and maintained policies and controls. Their previous role at Michael Kors was as a Retail Operations & Accounting Senior.

Katie started their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor, where they planned, coordinated, and performed financial statement audits and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Katie also had the responsibility of SEC filings and monitoring disclosure requirements.

Furthermore, Katie has experience from their internship roles at Ernst & Young and Untracht Early LLC, where they gained exposure to assurance services. Katie also participated in a mentorship program at Deloitte & Touche.

Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, internal and external audit management, accounting operations, and SEC compliance.
