Shirola Ghadirian has had over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Shirola started their career in 1997 as a Production Manager at Stanbury Electrical Engineering. Shirola then worked at Powerware as a Test Solutions Manager from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, they founded their own business called TSENZ, where they worked as a Business Owner. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Cochlear as a Test Engineering Manager. In 2012, they joined EDMI ANZ as a Technical Services Manager and later took on the role of Laboratory & Quality Manager, gaining ISO17025 accreditation. Shirola also worked as a Technical Lead & Regional Compliance Manager at EDMI ANZ. Shirola then worked at Callaghan Innovation as a Group Manager, Engineering from 2017 to 2018. Shirola joined FCL Metering in 2018 as a Technical Services Manager and then moved on to AccuCal Metering in 2020 as an Operations Manager. In 2021, they worked at Hennessy as an Automation Engineer. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Technical Services at Waikato Milking Systems, starting in August 2022.
Shirola Ghadirian completed a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology) from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including "Programming Foundations: APIs and Web Services," "PHP Essential Training," "Presenting to Senior Executives," "AutoCAD LT Essential Training," "Ignition SCADA," "InTouch HMI 2017: Introduction to the Modern InTouch Application," "AutoCAD Electrical Essential Training," "C# Essential Training: 1 Syntax and Object Oriented Programming," "Electrical Systems: Reading Drawings and Schematics," "Learn Industrial Automation," "Learning Industrial Automation," "Learning PLC Ladder Logic," "Learning Python," "Presenting Technical Information with Stories," "Python Essential Training," "Body Language for Leaders," "What to Do in the First 90 Days of Your New Job," "ISO 9001:2015 Training," and "Internal Auditing." These certifications were obtained from various institutions, including LinkedIn, Inductive Automation, AVEVA, Telarc SAI Ltd, and the Measurement Standard Laboratory, between 2015 and 2023.
