Nap Chan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They began their career as a Sales Representative at Allstate Ins in 2006 and later worked as an Auto Underwriter at State Farm. In 2009, Nap Chan became the Past President of the Organization of Chinese American - Orange County Chapter, where they focused on advancing the well-being of Asian Pacific Islander Americans.
They then joined State Farm in 2011 and held several positions, including Leadership Development Associate in the Agency Field Office and Business Development Consultant. In these roles, they provided guidance and support to senior sales executives and agents, mentored individuals to drive growth in multicultural markets, and cultivated relationships in the community.
From 2012 to 2014, Nap Chan served as the Multicultural Marketing and Social Media Lead at State Farm, where they drove growth in the Hispanic, Asian, and young adult markets.
In 2015, they transitioned to Unirisx as the Vice President of Marketing, where they led marketing and branding strategies, supported business expansion efforts in the UK and Asia, and managed various marketing initiatives.
In 2016, Nap Chan joined TD as the Vice President, Product Manager, Digital Sales Platform, where they oversaw digital sales and platform development.
They then joined HSBC in 2019 as the Senior Product Manager, Digital Proposition Experience Design for the Asia Pacific region, focusing on creating innovative digital products and enhancing customer experiences.
In 2020, Nap Chan joined bolttech as the Director of Digital Brokerage, responsible for building an innovative insurance brokerage platform and ecosystem across the Asia Pacific region.
Finally, in 2022, Nap Chan joined WeLab as the Group Head of Product Development. In this role, they lead a high-performance team to build and launch innovative fintech products, advocate for customer-centric discovery methods, formulate product strategies, and identify synergies across WeLab's businesses.
