Fernanda Valdes

Fernanda Valdes has extensive work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Fernanda most recently worked at Pentair as a Supply Manager, where they managed a team of sourcing engineers and implemented savings projects. Prior to that, they held various roles at Welbilt Inc., including Supplier Development Manager and Materials Manager, where they oversaw supply chain operations for ice machines, industrial fridges, and beverage dispensers. At GE Transportation, they served as a Master Scheduler, responsible for coordinating production and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of locomotive cabs and subassemblies. Fernanda also worked at GE Healthcare as a Materials Specialist, where they successfully improved service and fill rate percentages. Before that, they held positions at Fossil Group, Inc. and GE Lighting, where they gained experience in planning, buying, and logistics operations.

Fernanda Valdes obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. After a gap in their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Quality and Productivity from Tec Millenio, attending from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Fernanda has obtained certifications in "Cómo dar y recibir feedback o retroalimentación" from LinkedIn in April 2023 and in APICS in April 2012.
