Young Hwai Tan

Young Hwai Tan's work experience includes a role as a Technical Product Support at Welbilt Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Sales and Technical Support Engineer at Carrier Transicold Truck Trailer Refrigeration from 2007 to 2023. They also worked as an Operations Assistant Manager at the Automobile Association of Singapore in 2006. Their earliest experience was as a Workshop Assistant Manager at SBS Transit Ltd from 2000 to 2006, where they managed bus workshop operations and implemented initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and costs.

Young Hwai Tan pursued their education in a chronological manner. Young Hwai first attended Heriot-Watt University from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree with a focus on Mechanical engineering. After a brief break, they resumed their studies at the National University of Singapore from 2002 to 2004. During this period, they successfully completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree specializing in Transportation Systems and Management.
