Carlos Cervantes has a long history of experience in software engineering. Carlos began their career in 2006 as a Jr. Developer at Greenwood & Hall, where they maintained and developed call center web applications and successfully transitioned many legacy systems from VB6/DBase to C#/SQL Server. In 2007, they moved to DRX - A Subsidiary of Connecture as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2012, they co-founded Gumball, a marketing startup, and was responsible for creating, guiding, and executing on the technology roadmap. Carlos also worked with clients and end users to facilitate the customer development process, created an interactive advertising network and embeddable JavaScript ad widget, and developed mass email marketing software. In the same year, they also became the CTO of Loyalty Dice. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Pillow, and in 2019 they moved to Welcome Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer.
Carlos Cervantes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 2008. Carlos then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are still currently enrolled in.
