Anthony Salas, CMP

Anthony Salas, CMP has over 20 years of experience in event management and coordination. Anthony is currently the Senior Manager of Events & Membership at Welcoming America, where they manage the annual conference hosting over 600 in-person attendees. Anthony'sresponsibilities include venue selection, coordinating breakout sessions, exhibitors, registration/check-in, and pre and post-event activities. Anthony also manages a staff coordinator and assists with network membership and other tasks.

Prior to their current role, Anthony worked as an Event Manager at Meeting Tomorrow, where they were responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring a great client experience. Anthony worked closely with sales and event support departments, built strong client relationships, communicated project details and updates, and resolved issues.

Throughout their career, Anthony has demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Anthony has extensive experience in managing high-profile events, webinars, and virtual events.

Anthony Salas, CMP has a Bachelor's degree from San Antonio College. Anthony also studied Business Administration and Management at City College of San Francisco.
