Ray Prater

Ray Prater is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product development, design engineering, and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Services Engineer at WeldFit since August 2020, Ray previously held key roles at T.D. Williamson from 2010 to 2020, including Engineering Manager, where leadership was demonstrated in sustaining engineering for hot tapping and line stop isolation products. Notable achievements encompass successful redesign projects leading to significant cost reductions and improvements in equipment reliability. Ray's engineering career began at The Charles Machine Works, Inc., and has included contributions at companies such as American Airlines, TWG, Arrow Engine and Compression Company, and FW Murphy, reflecting a strong commitment to product commercialization and customer service. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
