Rafael Ramos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rafael started their career as a Web Developer at Interactive Bureau Mexico in 1999. In 2000, they moved on to become the Hardware Director at Danilo Black. From 2002 to 2005, Rafael served as the CTO and Co-owner of Apex ITG, where they were responsible for business development and hardware R&D. Following that, they joined IDZ Technologies, Inc. in 2006 as the CTO. During their tenure, they oversaw the development of various patents and products, such as RFID-based hardware locks and tool tracking devices. In 2016, Rafael took up the role of Director, Edge compute at WellAware.us. Here, they developed and deployed new products based on existing company architectures and multi-device networks. Their major projects included the development of an MBED based platform for arm-based IoT devices and a pump controller.
