Victoria Mckenna

Victoria McKenna is an experienced project manager currently leading the Aquatic Symbiosis Genomics Project at the Wellcome Sanger Institute since June 2020. With a strong background in educational publishing, Victoria serves as Programme Team Lead at Cambridge University Press while also having held roles such as Programme Manager and Digital Operations Supervisor within the English Language Teaching (ELT) Programmes and Processes Team. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientific Training Officer at EMBL-EBI, where Victoria developed an eLearning portal, and as a Biology and Physics Teacher at The Deanery Church of England High School and College. Victoria holds a PhD in Bioinformatics, a PGCE in Biology, and a BS in Biological and Computational Science, all from the University of Manchester.
