Vicky Maskell

Vicky Maskell serves as the Strategic Communications and Engagement Lead at Wellcome Trust since February 2022. Previously, Vicky held the role of Head of Strategic Communications at the Cabinet Office from September 2019 to December 2021, and as the U-Report On The Move Coordinator at UNICEF, focusing on supporting migrants and refugees through technology and innovation from April to September 2019. Vicky's earlier experience includes significant roles at UNICEF Latin America and Caribbean, where efforts centered on public health emergencies related to Zika, and at UNICEF UK, where campaign management and marketing initiatives were key responsibilities. Other past positions include Marketing Manager at SSAFA, Acting Marketing Manager and Coordinator at Tower Hamlets College, and Marketing Assistant at the Institution of Gas. Vicky graduated with a MA Joint Honours in Spanish and History from The University of Edinburgh in 2007.
