Alyson Byrne

Alyson Byrne, MA, is an experienced clinical psychology professional currently serving as a Clinical Psychology Post Doctoral Fellow at Wellington Counseling Group since August 2019. Previously, Byrne completed a Doctoral Internship in Psychology at Virginia Beach City Public Schools and worked as an Advanced Practicum Student at North Shore Pediatric Therapy. Additional experience includes roles as a Therapy Extern at South Campus Therapeutic Day School and a Diagnostic Extern at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Byrne has also held a Middle School Counseling Intern position at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago and participated in an Undergraduate Clinical-Research Practicum at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Alyson Byrne earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Child and Adolescent Emphasis from Adler University, where a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology was also obtained, following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University.
