Sheldon Engineer

Sheldon Engineer is an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in chef roles across a variety of reputable establishments. Currently serving as Area Chef at Kāpura since December 2022, Sheldon has previously held positions as Head Chef at Zealong Tea and Kāpura, as well as Sous Chef at CASTAWAY RESORT and Chef de Cuisine at Nautilus Resort Rarotonga. Additional experience includes roles at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and SNS Hospitality Cocoparra, where responsibilities encompassed kitchen design, staff training, and menu planning. Sheldon's career began with foundational roles at Anantara Qasr Al Sarab Resort and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Educated in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management at the Taj Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, along with a diploma in Bakery & Confectionery from Maharashtra State Institute, Sheldon possesses a comprehensive skill set in culinary operations and management.
