Katie Stone

Katie Stone has a varied and extensive work experience. Katie started their career in 2004 as an Assistant Public Defender at the Metropolitan Nashville Public Defender's Office, where they worked until 2008. Katie then joined the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County Department of Law as an Assistant Metropolitan Attorney, providing legal advice to various agencies and departments. In 2009, Stone transitioned to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office as Legal Counsel, responsible for providing legal advice and managing litigation. Katie'smost recent position, starting in 2022, is at Wellpath where they hold the role of Director - Associate General Counsel - Operations.

Katie Stone holds a Master's Degree in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Katie also has a JD degree in Law from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Furthermore, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1996 to 2000.
