Katie Huszcza

Katie Huszcza has a diverse work experience in the fields of operations and farming. Katie is currently working as the Associate Director of Operations and Farm Services at WellPower since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Farmer Assistance Program Manager at GoFarm from October 2019 to January 2022. Katie also held the position of Director of Programs and Farming at Mountair Park Community Farm at Sprout City Farms from February 2016 to December 2018. Before that, they worked as a Farmer at Tasty Roots Farm and Blue Truck Farms from March 2015 to December 2015. Katie also has experience as a Gardener at Gardening By Tess, Inc from April 2015 to November 2015. Katie has gained valuable knowledge as a Horticultural Therapy Intern at Denver Botanic Gardens and Craig Hospital in 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Gardener at Colorado Rocky Mountain School from April 2013 to October 2013. Katie began their career as a Farm Intern at Innisfree Village from May 2012 to October 2012 and also worked as a Caregiver at the same organization from May 2011 to May 2012.

Katie Huszcza obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from James Madison University from 2007 to 2011. Katie also completed a Horticultural Therapy Certificate at the Horticultural Therapy Institute from 2013 to 2014.
