Richard Loosemore

Richard Loosemore serves as an Assistant Professor of Physics and Mathematics at Wells College since July 2023, following a long tenure as Chief Technology Officer at Susaro, Inc., where Richard developed innovative artificial intelligence software systems based on a novel approach known as "Complex-System AI" (CSAI). Previously, Richard has held various academic roles at Wells College, teaching a wide range of subjects in the mathematical and physical sciences and serving as an Instructional Designer at eCornell. Richard's extensive career in technology includes leadership positions at startup companies and established firms, primarily focusing on software engineering and development. Richard holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Connectionist and Symbolic Models of Structured Cognition from the University of Warwick, and has a strong educational foundation in physics, applied mathematics, and computer science.
