Angie Lai

Angie Lai is head of Digital and Automated Investing for Wells Fargo Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for attracting the next generation investor and deepening relationships through Wells Fargo partnerships and competitive offerings. She also sits on the Wells Fargo Advisors Operating Committee.

Angie has been with Wells Fargo Advisors for nearly 27 years and served in various leadership positions. Prior to her current role, she was chief operating officer for Digital and Automated Investing, leading major initiatives including the development and launch of Intuitive Investor®. She also was the head of the Wells Fargo Advisors securities-based lending product platform, which included oversight of the products’ strategy and development, client and financial advisor experience, and addressing risk. While in that role, she developed and launched Priority Credit Line, a securities based lending option to help clients with their borrowing needs.

Angie holds a bachelor’s in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco and a M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College of California. She holds Series 7 and 24 securities registrations.

She is a member and action team co-lead on the Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council. Outside of work, she has been a volunteer of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Northern California chapter for 29 years and has been a member and past chair of its board of trustees for over 25 years.
