Neal Mehra, MD, MBA

Neal Mehra, MD, MBA has an extensive work experience. Neal currently serves as the Treasurer and an Executive Board Member at the California Society of Addiction Medicine (CSAM). Prior to this role, they held the position of Medical Director at Granite Wellness Centers and Hope Cooperative in 2021 and 2020 respectively. Neal also worked as an Associate Medical Director at WellSpace Health starting in 2016. In 2014, they were the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Strategy at Columbia Asthma & Allergy Clinic. Earlier in their career, Dr. Mehra worked as a Neurologist at UC Davis Medical Center from 2008 to 2011. Neal also gained experience as a Senior Consultant at Attest Health Care Advisors from 2006 to 2008 and at Ernst & Young, LLP from 2004 to 2006.

Neal Mehra, MD, MBA completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from UC San Diego. Following this, they attended the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the field of Medicine. Afterwards, Neal Mehra pursued higher education in business, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management, focusing on the field of Business.

Additionally, Neal Mehra holds two certifications, including being Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., and being a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant (CHBC) through the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants (NSCHBC).
