Heather Gift

Heather Gift has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Heather began their career in 2003 as a Pharmacy Technician/Compounding Technician at The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined WellSpan Health and held various roles throughout their tenure. Heather started as a Pharmacy Technician II and then transitioned to roles such as Referral Specialist, Referral Specialist II, Team Leader, and Supervisor Authorization Center. In 2015, they became the Regional Manager Patient Access, Leadership Development, and Referral Lead. Heather then progressed to become the Business Relationship Product Manager and later the Manager of Data Governance. Their most recent role at WellSpan Health, starting in 2023, is the Director of Data & Analytics Governance.

Heather Gift obtained a Product Management Certificate from Cornell University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Capella University between 2016 and 2017. Before pursuing their MBA, Heather earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix, which they completed from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Heather's educational journey began with a focus on nursing at Harrisburg Area Community College from 2004 to 2008. Heather has also acquired several certifications related to healthcare management, access, and pharmacy technician roles.
