Joy previously served as the VP Training & Organizational Development at National City Bank from 1998 to 2003, managing a large team and establishing operational guidelines. At Nestlé, Joy worked as the Manager of Leader Development in 1996.

Joy Jones completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Career & Human Resource Development with a concentration in OD at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the same institution, from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, Joy has acquired several certifications throughout their career, including Change Leadership from Guidehouse in 2021, Group 1 Required for all researchers registering with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation from CITI Program in 2021, and Interaction Management from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 2016, among others.
