Kathy Dobbins

Kathy Dobbins has extensive work experience in the mental health and nonprofit sector. Kathy (Katharine) worked at Wellspring, a not-for-profit agency, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer since October 2009. In this role, they led the development of quality housing and rehabilitation services for persons with mental illness. Prior to their role as CEO, Kathy served as the Director of Programs at Wellspring, Inc. from September 1982 to October 2009.

Kathy (Katharine) Dobbins holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Randolph College, which they obtained in the years 1973 to 1977. Kathy (Katharine) further pursued their education at the University of Virginia, focusing on Psychology, but did not obtain a specific degree. Kathy (Katharine) then went on to earn a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree from the University of Louisville, completing their studies from 1979 to 1981. In 1986, Kathy obtained a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the KY Board of Social Work.
