Halima Murunga

Halima Murunga has held a variety of roles in the fields of finance, technology, multimedia, environmental auditing, and business development. In 2019, they began their role as Chief Product Officer at Wellthi Tech, a US-based Fintech. Halima also took on the role of Digital Payments Technical Advisor at the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) that same year. In 2014, Halima became the Head of Business Development at Wonderkid Multimedia, where they led a team to identify innovative and sustainable ICT interventions. From 2012 to 2011, Halima was a Consultant for the Water and Sanitation Program at the World Bank Group, a Co-Founder and Projects Lead at AGES Group, and a Business Development Manager at AIESEC Kenya. Finally, in 2010, Halima was an Environmental Auditor at Allied Environment.

Halima Murunga completed their A-Levels at Rusinga Secondary School in 2004. Halima then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Monash South Africa between 2004 and 2007. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Geography & Tourism from the University of Nairobi between 2007 and 2010.
