Jose Muro, CPA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internal auditing and compliance. Currently serving as the Manager of Internal Audit at Welltower, Inc. since May 2019, Muro leads strategic projects to support management decisions and oversees SOX compliance across multiple countries, including the US, Canada, and the UK. Prior roles include Senior Auditor for SOX Compliance, where Muro coordinated audit plans and managed compliance testing procedures for significant revenue streams.
