John Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John began their career as a Program Director at Radio Enterprises of Ohio in 1979 and then transitioned to an On Air role at Booth Broadcasting (WZZP, 106.5 FM) in 1981. After that, they joined DeCarlo, Paternite and Associates as a Programmer/Analyst, where they contributed to the development of financial and order processing software and also worked as a consultant for various clients. In 1987, they moved on to Intec Consulting/Realogic as a Senior Consultant, staying there until 1997. John then joined Computer Associates as a Senior Consultant, leaving in 2001 to become a Technical Lead at Weltman, Weinberg & Reis. In 1993, they also assumed the role of Statistician/Official Scorer at the Cleveland Crunch, holding the position until 2004. Most recently, they worked as a Freelance Statistician at ESPN3, Various, starting in 2013.
John Nelson attended the ICM School of Business from 1981 to 1982. However, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study at this institution. Prior to that, from 1972 to 1976, they studied at Cleveland State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
