Ian Smith

Ian Smith brings over 35 years of experience in the Engineering Information domain, having held various roles in prominent organizations. Currently a Volunteer History Researcher and member of the Digital Media team at Wentworth Woodhouse since August 2023, Ian also serves as an IM Manager at Jacobs and as a Parish Councillor for Tickhill Town Council. Previous positions include Principal Solutions Consultant at AVEVA, Technical Manager at Aker Kvaerner, and various roles at Davy Computing. Ian holds an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and is actively seeking short to medium-term projects following retirement from full-time employment.
