Swapnil Bhaumik

Swapnil Bhaumik has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Swapnil most recently worked as a Software Engineer at WePay starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences from September 2021 to December 2021. Earlier, Swapnil interned as a Software Engineer at WePay from May 2021 to August 2021 and also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences from January 2021 to April 2021. Swapnil gained industry experience as a Software Engineer Co-op at Cambridge Semantics Inc. from June 2020 to December 2020, where they developed a web-app using React.js and performed analytics on airlines data. Swapnil has also interned as a Software Engineer at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in 2018, where they developed a web-based UI connecting a Next-Generation Sequencing big data database. Additionally, they interned at Indian Railways in 2018, where they developed a web application for financial data management and reporting.

From 2019 to 2021, Swapnil pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.

Prior to that, they attended Heritage Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology.

Swapnil'shigh school education was completed at Calcutta Boys School from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Science.

In addition to their formal education, Swapnil has obtained several certifications. In August 2020, they participated in the Virtual Experience Program at JPMorgan Chase & Co. In August 2019, they completed the "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" course from Coursera. In September 2018, they completed the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course, as well as the "Machine Learning" course, both from Coursera.
