Valentina Gomez is an experienced professional in the textile industry, currently serving as Co-Founder and COO, as well as Chief Innovation Officer, at Werewool since August 2019. Werewool is a biomaterials company focused on developing sustainable textiles using innovative protein fibers designed at the DNA level. Valentina's background includes roles as a Research Intern at Material ConneXion and Lab Scholar at Genspace NYC, along with a Textile Design Internship at KnollTextiles and a Fashion Stylist Internship at Spindle Magazine. Valentina holds a Bachelor's degree in Textile Development and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, along with additional qualifications from Jean School and the Fashion Institute of Technology in textile design and denim business.
