Adrian Young

Director of Customer Impact, Werklabs @ The Mom Project at WerkLabs

Adrian Young has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. In 2004, they were an Account Director at McClain Finlon Advertising. From 2008 to 2013, they were the Principal, Strategic Vision at Drink Me Creative, where they led lifestyle and experiential brand strategy, designed leadership workshops, and directed positioning and research insights. In 2013, they became the Executive Director of the Western Avenue Association. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Chief Strategist at Made Possible, where they developed an equitable stakeholder consortium to create sustainable philanthropic impact and architected a fundraising model for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. In 2020, they joined liquidfish as Lead Strategist, a short-term consulting project that turned into a long-term leadership contract role. In 2022, they became the Director of Customer Impact at Werklabs @ The Mom Project, where they bring research and people to the forefront of business impact.

Adrian Young has a comprehensive education history. In 2021, they obtained a Master of Arts with distinction from UMass Boston in Strategic Thinking. In 2020, they obtained a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from the Global Association for Quality Management (GAQM) and an Inclusive Leadership Training from Catalyst Inc. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner from The Flourishing Center, a Certified Residential Planner from The Art Institutes, an Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator from Case Western Reserve University, and a Certified Applied Positive Psychology Practitioner from The Flourishing Center. In 2018, they obtained a BA in Journalism Advertising from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Mindful Meditation from Allegra, a Fundamentals of Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Qualitative Research from UC Davis Extension. In 2017, they obtained a High Performance Collaboration from the University of Pennsylvania, an Organizational Leadership from Northwestern University, and a Global Human Capital from Columbia University School of Professional Studies.
