Alena Black

Alena Black is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in UX and graphic design. Currently serving as a UX Designer at Werner Enterprises since February 2022, Alena focuses on enhancing the user experience of an internal SaaS platform through interviews and design recommendations while also developing user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes. As the owner and freelance graphic designer at ELN Studios since April 2017, Alena creates diverse branding collateral and communicates effectively with clients. Previous roles include UX Designer at Paragon, Marketing Coordinator at City+Ventures, and Lead Graphic Designer at PetIQ, where Alena honed skills in user research, marketing strategy, and design execution. Alena began a career at Nebraska Furniture Mart in various supply and administrative roles, complemented by early experience in customer service and banking. Alena holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of South Dakota.
