Stephen J. Lawrence

Stephen J. Lawrence is currently the EVP & Chief Internal Auditor at WesBanco. Stephen has held this position since August of 2002. Prior to that, they served as a Trust Officer with WesBanco from June 1998 to August 2002. In this role, they were responsible for trust administration, new business development, estate and tax planning, consultation and custodial services for charitable institutions, foundations and endowments.

From October 1997 to June 1998, Mr. Lawrence was the Branch Manager at Fed One Bank. In this role, they coordinated branch operations, staffing and client services. Stephen also reviewed traditional bank investment and loan options with clients to determine suitability and ensured branch efficiency through proper payroll and new business targets.

Prior to their work in the banking industry, Mr. Lawrence was an Investment Advisor with Legg Mason from January 1997 to September 1997. Before that, they spent 10 years as a Store Manager with Toys R Us from June 1987 to January 1997.

Stephen J. Lawrence has a B.A. in Psychology from West Liberty University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General, also from West Liberty University. Stephen also has a CTFA Certification from Cannon Financial Institute and is certified by the American Bankers Association as a Certified Trust Financial Advisor.

Their manager is Todd F. Clossin, President & CEO. They are on a team with Jayson M. Zatta - Senior EVP, Group Head, Banking & Trust, Anthony F. Pietranton - Senior EVP, Group Head, Human Resources & Facilities, and Robert H. Young - Senior EVP, CFO & Group Head, Finance.
