Stephen Scrimshaw

Stephen Scrimshaw has over 30 years of work experience in various financial roles. Stephen is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Wesbell Communications since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the CFO - Senior Manager at BottomLine Group, now OPTIMUS | SBR from 2016 to 2022. From 2011 to 2016, they served as a Director at IFCL. Stephen has also worked as the Owner & CFO at Primex Logistics Group from 2000 to 2010. In addition, they have held positions at UBS Investment Bank, UBS Canada, RBC, and CIBC World Markets in the past.

Stephen Scrimshaw is a CPA Candidate who completed their education with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a B.A. in Economics & History at the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance at Schulich School of Business - York University. In addition to their formal education, Stephen has obtained various certifications in areas such as avoiding burnout, dealing with grief and loss, enhancing resilience, leading with emotional intelligence, leadership by Jeff Weiner, and supporting mental health while working from home, all through LinkedIn.
