Afzal Jagot

Afzal Jagot has extensive experience in technology strategy and architecture. Afzal most recently served as the Head of Technology Strategy / CIO at Wesleyan starting in January 2020. Prior to that, they were the Head of Strategy & Architecture at first direct from January 2018 to July 2019. In this role, they led the agreement of strategic priorities and roadmaps to maintain the company's top position for customer service and support business growth. Before that, they worked as the Head of Business Architecture at Yorkshire Building Society Group from April 2014 to December 2017.

Afzal Jagot completed their education at De Montfort University, where they earned a BA (HONS) in Economics from 1993 to 1996, followed by an MA in Economics from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2018 and TOGAF 9.1 from The Open Group in November 2013.
