Melissa Thorson

Melissa Thorson is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the Head of School and Assistant to the Board of Trustees at Wesleyan School since August 2022. Additionally, Melissa has been a Certified Enneagram Coach at Peachtree Enneagram since January 2020 and an Online Adjunct Instructor at Georgia Virtual School since July 2017. Previous experience includes roles as an Independent Contractor at Phase Foundations, where responsibilities included leading creative direction for preschool curriculum and connecting community programs, as well as teaching middle and high school students at Wesleyan School and Parkview High School in Language Arts and Video Broadcast Journalism. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Secondary Education from Asbury University and a Master’s Degree in the same field from Piedmont University.
