Inge Thormodsen

Inge Thormodsen has extensive experience in the marine and engineering sectors, currently serving as a Senior Marine Surveyor at WESMANS since August 2018. Previously, Inge held the roles of Marine Surveyor at WESMANS and Coordinator at Global Ocean Technology from April 2016 to July 2018. A background in project management is highlighted by positions as Project Manager for Cameron Sense, overseeing mud project management from December 2011 to January 2016, and for Båtservice Mandal, managing the construction of passenger vessels and search & rescue vessels from December 2001 to June 2006. Inge also served as Sales Manager at Båtservice Mandal AS, focusing on the sale of work boats and modules for oil rigs, and as Engineering Manager at Maritime Hydraulics, coordinating engineering efforts with shipyards constructing oil rigs. Starting as a 1st engineer at UECC from January 1993 to December 2001, Inge gained hands-on maintenance and operational experience with a ro-ro vessel. Inge holds a degree in marine engineering from Kristiansand tekniske fagskole.
