John O'Connell

John O Connell possesses extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Director at West Cork Distillers since January 2007. Prior to this role, John held the position of Research & Development Director for EMEA at Kerry Group from 2003 to 2012 and worked as the Research & Development Manager for Corporate Research UK at Unilever between 2000 and 2003. John's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Colloidal Chemistry obtained from University College Cork, where John also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Chemistry. Additionally, John completed a Post Doctorate at NIZO food research from 1999 to 2000.
